For many people, the purest bliss of the chocolate experience could only be had from a bar of chocolate. Chocolate bars just might be the most common incarnation of chocolate treats that people could enjoy today, and it is arguably the most enjoyable incarnation of chocolate, simply because of all the ways by which they could be consumed. They could be consumed on their own or with anything else – milk or champagne, jelly or sauce (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!), even fresh fruits could be eaten with a bar of chocolate. The ACT of eating a bar of chocolate is similarly varied. One can choose to simply bite into a bar of chocolate, and then chew it; one can bite, and then let the piece rest in one’s mouth to melt; one can break the bar down to smaller, bite sized pieces that one can chew, or break the bar down to smaller, bite-sized pieces that one can melt on one’s tongue. Now imagine that the chocolate bars in question are gourmet chocolate bars.
For many people, the bar of chocolate would be the only kind of luxury that they would ever have in their lives, which is why gourmet chocolate bars and very special indeed. Gourmet chocolate bars are only ever limited in the context of shape – they are chocolate BARS and must therefore be bar-shaped. But the chocolate flavor is a whole different affair. Some gourmet chocolates – the so-called “classics” of the bunch – are simply high-end chocolates such as dark chocolate in bar form. Of course, this can be mixed up a bit when you add some different ingredients and flavoring to the gourmet chocolate bars such as citron, or vanilla, or chocolate, or raspberry, or caramel.
Gourmet chocolate bars often come in one singular flavor, but you are assured that whatever the said flavor is, it will most definitely be good.
