Fudge

There are people of the strong opinion that fudge in general is never appreciated enough. And while some of them would tend to overkill about things like this, we do have to agree that it is quite a shame that not very many people understand how wonderful fudge could truly be. Fudge, if you happen to be uninitiated to the wonders of all treats, is a soft candy that is often made from butter, sugar, milk, and whatever flavoring one wants. Fudge is often sticky, rich and very overwhelming, but this is part of the charm of this particular sweet. These days, however, “fudge” is more often associated with chocolate than with anything else, as it can be argued that gourmet chocolate fudge is the best kind of fudge there is. That being said, imagine just how good gourmet chocolate fudge can actually be.

Gourmet chocolate fudge is, of course, limited only in the context of form. Fudge is a soft candy, yes, but it is technically sold in the form of soft squares, rectangles, and the like. The flavors, however, can have all sorts of possibilities placed upon them in this context. Due to the very nature of fudge itself, gourmet chocolate fudge could be infused with the darkest chocolate for that slightly bitter flavor; the chocolate that would be used to flavor up the fudge could also be mixed in with other flavorings so that there would come an interesting effect on your tongue. Nuts like almond and macadamia could also be added to the gourmet chocolate fudge to give it more interesting textures and a crunch – while at the same time combining with the chocolate for a more interesting flavor.

Gourmet chocolate fudge may only LOOK like it has a limited range of possibilities; in fact, however, it is these apparent limitations that make gourmet chocolate fudge all the more interesting.
